The Women in Maritime, Mining, and Energy Awards (WiMMEA) aims to recognize and celebrate the outstanding achievements of women and organizations driving innovation, leadership, and sustainability within Ghana’s industrial sectors.
Who organizes the WiMMEA Awards?
The awards are organized by Ianmatsun Global Services Ltd (IGSL), a leading media and event management firm in Ghana, in collaboration with various industry regulators and government ministries.
Can I nominate myself for an award?
Yes! We encourage high-achieving women to self-nominate. You may also be nominated by your employer, a colleague, or a third party who is familiar with your work and impact.
Can one person/organization be nominated in multiple categories?
Yes, you may submit nominations in multiple categories provided you meet the specific eligibility criteria for each. However, each entry must be tailored to the specific category requirements.
